My Mission

To prepare future sterile processing professionals through practical, career-focused education that equips students with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to succeed in the CBSPD certification exam and thrive in today's healthcare industry.

I began my career in sterile processing in 2011, where I learned firsthand the critical role sterile processing professionals play in patient safety. As my experience grew, I advanced into leadership as a Sterile Processing Manager, overseeing teams and helping maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

In 2016, I discovered a passion for teaching. Helping students understand not only how to perform their job but why every step matters became one of the most rewarding parts of my career. That passion ultimately led me to establish the Ramirez Institute of Sterile Processing.

I believe every student learns differently. My goal is to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing the skills needed to succeed both on the CBSPD certification exam and in the workplace.

I don't just teach sterile processing—I prepare students for real careers.

My commitment to sterile processing extends beyond the classroom. I continue to support students, consult with healthcare organizations, and develop educational resources that help strengthen the profession and prepare the next generation of sterile processing professionals.
